Caution

Always test all fixtures, bulbs, heating elements, appliances, lighting, and any additional equipment before introducing animals into the enclosure. Ensure that UV levels, functionality, and operating temperatures are appropriate and safe for both the animal and the enclosure.

With the Slotted Stainless Steel Versa-Rack shelf system, animals may be at risk of escaping if they can fit through an approx. 1/4″ gap between the tubs and the steel shelf. Use caution when housing small or juvenile animals that could escape through this space. DIY solutions may be possible to shore up that gap, however it is up to the customer to evaluate and implement these solutions at their own risk.

Select up to 4 sections to build your breeding rack. You may include Vision Tubs or choose a rack-only option.

Important! One set of adjustable feet or casters are required to complete assembly of the rack.

  • Adjustable Feet add .75" - 1.5" to the overall height.
  • Casters add 5.8" to the overall height.

Add extra security and functionality to your rack. See below each field for recommended quantities.

Protect your tubs from falling out with security latches, side guides, and/or backstops. The security latches attach to the front of the rack and the 14" backstops attach to the back of the rack shelves, while the 6" side guides attach to the outer ends. Ensure your reptiles get the light and heat they need with overhead fixtures and underbelly heat cables. Pair your fixtures with a 10-outlet surge protector and mounting bracket for outlet access and additional protection. Please select your components and their quantities below.

Description

The Slotted Stainless Steel Versa-Rack is designed for flexibility and efficiency in reptile care, accommodating various species’ heat and light requirements.

The Rack Sections

Build your rack by selecting up to 4 sections. Each section in this rack variant includes two levels suitable for V-35 Tubs (2 tubs per level, 4 per section) or V-70 Tubs (1 tub per level, 2 per section).

The Slotted Stainless Steel Versa-Rack is an expandable setup. For example, say you initially order a single section with casters or feet. To expand your setup later, you may order up to 3 more sections (without casters or feet) and connect them to your current section.

The Light Profiles

This “Low Profile” rack variant provides 3.5″ of space between shelves, ideal for UVA/UVB fluorescent light strips, radiant heat boards, low-profile halogen lights, and UVA/UVB fluorescent dome fixtures. When designing your rack above, the Heating and Lighting fields will provide recommended quantities.

Additional Accessories

Enhance your rack with optional safety features, such as a security latch, 6″ side guides, and a 14″ backstop/guide, to secure tubs in place.

Finish customizing your setup with functional accessories like hides, water dishes, dish holders, and dish-holder gripping pads. Recommended quantities will be provided for each when designing your rack above.
